So, I went to lunch with her yesterday and was being as kind as possible, just like all of you said. She ordered 2 bottles of wine in a cafe! She drank it all and kept on talking about how great New York is. When the wine hit her brain her speech got messy, so she asked me to talk her to Charlie’s house. Charlie came over around 7 o’clock and asked how it went with such horrible hate. I told him everything and he didn’t quite care he said " My mother likes anyone who allows her to get wasted like she was." He hates his mom!
He told me stories about how she came drunk to one of his teacher parent conferences. How she had 2 glasses of wine ( both full) in her hands when she came to one of his piano recitals. He told me cheerfully she leaving today, but I told him to go meet her by the train but he didn’t listen. He started kissing me and he went a little too far and took my clothes off. Suddenly the doorbell rang and it was his mom! :,( I quickly put a robe on and he hid behind the kitchens walls. I opened the door and she was standing there crying "Charlie didn’t come visit me, I’m leaving today, do you know where he is? I told her " No, I just came out of the shower."
So she hugged me and the smile went from her face. " Your hairs not wet, your wearing a bra, and… is that your clothes on the couch!!" So she shoved into my house and started screaming Charlie’s name. He came out and took her outside came in and called a taxi and she just waited on the doorstep, when the taxi came she just left … What was that? Can I ever talk to her? I hate her anyway?
Wellllll… that’s what Mom – In – Law is all about.
Everything keeps getting worse with his mother and me but better between me and him?
my fuse keeps blowing and im doing nothing…whats the problem?
i have 2 microwaves…they are plugged into the wall but not running, meaning their clocks are on, but the microwave isnt heating anything and shouldn’t be drawing power. once, when i had one of them on and an electric grill on my fuse blew, so i switched the microwaves to a new circuit other than my kitchen. now all i did was flick a light switch and my fuse blew. and this was after the light was on the whole day….i had turned the light off for an hour, and then when i turned it back on the fuse blew. the only appliances on that circuit was a light, a clock and the 2 microwaves that wernt running. whats happening and why are my fuses blowing. oh, and my fuse box in my room isnt actually whats blowing. the fuse in the basement of the apartment building is blowing.
Sir:
It sounds to me like you have the makings of an
electrical fire about to occur. Fuse problems such
as this are usually the result of poor electrical
connections and bad insulation somewhere in
the installed wiring arrangement.
You can check this situation out yourself and find
out if this is the possible case. Remove one or more
plastic faceplates over your electrical outlets. Using a
bright, focused light examine the wires where they
connect to the outlet screw terminals. If they are old,
corroded, and possibly show black color on the copper
part of the wires, then you have a bad situation such
as I mentioned. If everything is nice and shiney clean,
you don’t.
A qualified electrician will need to become involved for
servicing of your problem. He will need to start back
at the fuse that is blowing and work outward from
there to the various outlets which are connected thereto.
I suspect that the trouble will ber found in a splice box
in the attic or floor somewhere. Most likely it is arcing
inside.
The worst situation you can have is one in which some
person has mounted a picture or fastened something to the wall using nails or screws and somehow nailed right into a supply cable from the fuse box. That situation is a real booger to locate but is the worst kind of a near future fire hazard. Work carefully and safely to investigate this further and attempt to determine which outlets are suspect and cause this fuse blowing situation.

changing a fuse help please?
my fuse in the kitchen blew out. I have the old screw in type fuses. the one that blew out controls my fridge. It has a copper type sleeve on the end similar to a lightbulb and on the face it says 25T. But when i went to the store they only have a 20TL or a 30TL with the same copper sleeve. In my fusebox next to the fuse that blew out is also another 25T that controls from what i could figure out my front porch light, indoor wall outlit which has a lamp on it and the clock radio in my bedroom. I dont know wether to use the 20 or the 30? Would the 30 be too much amps and cause my house to catch fire or should I use the 20. I was so confused I bought both kinds and right now i am using the 20. so far so good. Also on the back of the box of fuses it says do not put more watage than is allowed in the socket or it can cause a house fire. But the front of the fuse says amps not wattage. Are they the same or different. I am so confused. Help me please.
Always better to go with the lower amp rating when replacing fuses if they don’t have exact size of the old blown fuse. Now days 25 amps is sort of an odd size and the old type screw in fuse boxes are hardly used anymore, that is maybe why they didn’t have a 25. You can always take the 30 back for refund, or keep it to replace a 30 that blows-if you have an existing 30. Amps(current) are the intensity of the flow of the electrons being pullled through the wire to whatever device is using the electricity. Wattage is the power being used by the same device. Usually when you have to replace an electrical item it will have several different ratings such as an amp rating a voltage rating and a watt rating-that,of course, is what they have been tested up to and not to exceed.
Hope this answer help to alleviate the confusion.
Black and white kitchen?
We have white shaker units black gloss worktops and a black/white chequer tiled floor. We also have red accessories ie clock, canisters etc. What colour could I go for on the walls?
I’ve seen black and white kitchens with red accents that used a soft light blue, almost a pale teal like the color of the ocean in the Caribbean or the sky on a Fall day. You want it to have just a little bit of green in it but not a dull greyish or shale blue. But not as intense as turquoise. That’s also a very appropriate color for classic Shaker style. It’s a little tricky getting a blue shade that coordinates with the reds so pick up a range of color swatches from the paint store and look at them with your red accents to find one that harmonizes well.
Actually, I was googling to find photos of blue kitchen trim and couldn’t find any that showed what I mean, but if you look at the link below, the blue shade I am trying to describe is identical to the pale teal color of the "House Beautiful" logo!

How to give my apartment my own little edge?
I want to make my apartment a little quirky.
I collect vinyl records and CD albums, I have 7 bookcases full, I was going to put them in the study room.
I also collect clocks, I was going to put loads on the wall in the kitchen.
Also, would this look OK in my room?

We also have huge posters like this to put arounds:

Any other ideas on how to make my house look real quirky and have a cute little edge, and are these too much?
***My Boyfriend and I
sorry, typo
I hope you have a larger place than mine.I have a one bedroom apartment and have found a faux
finish on certain walls. And wall art in each room with each room having its own artistic theme.
Abstract area rugs also create a nice touch in confined space.Sometimes uniqueness verses
matching colors is more enjoyable to me,regardless of what company thinks.I live here so I must
be comfortable in my home.
