It’s really not a true grandfather clock. It hangs on the wall. Bought it about 20 years ago at an old store called 1890 Emporium. It has been running good until I moved. It requires a key to wind it. But after it has run for a while it stops. I usually just push the pendulum and it moves for another day or so. Any thoughts on how to fix it?
20 years old. 20 years worth of dust and grime. Have it cleaned.
Wall clock runs less than a week instead of 28 days or so like when it was new.?

If you’ve never had it professionally serviced, I would recommend that you do that. It is a mechanical device, so it needs a regular check up, and probably a cleaning.

Needs cleaned and oiled; all key wound clocks do from time to time. Or perhaps a spring going bad; but I’d have it cleaned and oiled first.

Do some searching in either the yellow pages or the "net"
it needs a good cleaning and repair. Being that it’s 20 years old, it is now an antique, and worth fixing
